Valve Spring Cups
Clay Smith recommends the use of Spring cups on all cylinder heads. They not only protect the head and shim, but also locate and align the spring. Maintaining correct spring, retainer seat and valve alignment ensures long valve spring longevity and minimal valve stem and guide wear. Clay Smith spring cups are precision machined and heat treated for maxmium strength.
